Yay! I’m so proud of my mom. She has never traveled on an airplane by herself, and she made her first 2 hr trip to visit Charlie and I in Colorado. Did I mention she has never even visited Colorado, or seen snow??! Well, she arrived at around 9pm and we made the 2 hr drive our of Granby to pick her up from Denver Airport. I waited for her in the crowd of anxious family members, friends, and running children, there in the arrivals section of the airport. She looked great, tired, but great. I swear I underestimate my mom since her condition made her very dependent of everybody. So to see her travel solo, in her condition, at night, was a WIN! Now time to show her the snow, trees, fresh air that Granby has to offer. More details on the rest of the week. 🙂
