Charlie and I signed up for this Wilderness Trekking Class. They have been showing us some very basic skills that are helpful when hiking in the backcountry. I mean everyone know how to go for a hike right? Wrong! Even Charlie was surprised at how much he has hiked and not been truly prepared. We have learned how to dress accordingly, how to pack the 10 essentials, how to use a dang compass and overall how to be safe while doing it. Today we made the trek up to St. Mary’s Glacier in near Indian Springs, Colorado. Very snowy, and almost blizzard like conditions, but we had a great time.
