Berlin is a true city of multiple generations colliding within their differences.  From the WWII era to the GDR, to simply trying to have it’s younger generations recognize who they are as individuals and not by their past, I respect Berlin. This moment in the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe was touching and grounding.
